GENERAL

WHO IS TRAVELFAST?

TRAVELFAST INTERNATIONAL INC., established in March of 1978, is a California-based full service travel agency with locations in San Francisco (main), San Jose (branch) and Los Angeles (branch). 

It specializes in travel to Asia and is an Asian consolidator for the following airlines:  NORTHWEST AIRLINES, CATHAY PACIFIC, CHINA AIRLINES, KOREAN AIRLINES, EVA AIR, ASIANA AIRLINES, JAPAN AIRLINES, SINGAPORE AIRLINES, CONTINENTAL AIRLINES and is a General Sales Agent for PHILIPPINE AIRLINES.

 
WHAT IS TRAVELFAST.COM?

·Travelfast.com is an economic tool which TFI offers to its subscribers for immediate access to our rate sheets and our Central Reservation System (CRS) through the Internet. 

·Its objective is (1)to allow independent travel agents to compete and be at par with other travel agencies on a global scale and thus, generate more sales by giving them unlimited access to our rate sheets and CRS anywhere in the world, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; (2)to be able to extend its service, through its subscribers, to meet the ever-changing travel demands of more customers in the United States, Europe and Asia.

· Unlimited access to the best updated net fares on almost all airlines to different destinations and net rates on hotels, car rentals, packages and tours all-over the world, available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

SUBSCRIPTION FEE

· Starting the first week of June there will be no charge for subscription.  As long as you have a Business License / IATA/ARC/ASTA Number, and fax us a Travel Agent Profile.  You may subscribe on the website for FREE.

· All subscribers will be allowed to check our net fares and book online.  The ticketing will take place in our San Francisco Office.

TECHNICAL

HOW DO I SUBSCRIBE TO TRAVELFAST.COM?

On the main page you will see a tab that says NEW USER.  Click on the tab and fill up the subscription form.  But before you do that, please take note that you have the requirements (found below):

WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS FOR SUBSCRIPTION?

Subscriber Requirements:
1. Business Permit
2. Federal Tax ID
3. Bank Account (Savings, Checking, or Corporate) or Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, Amexco)

System/Technical Requirements:
· Pentium PC 300Mhz or higher (recommended)
· 64 MB RAM or higher
· Standard keyboard & mouse
· Modem ( if using a dial-up connection )
· Windows 95/98/NT 4.0 or greater
· Internet Access through an Internet Service Provider (ISP)
· Internet Explorer 4.0 browser or later, or any JAVA-enabled browser


HOW DO I CHANGE MY PASSWORD

If you wish to change your password, send email to password@travelfast.com and include "CHANGE PASSWORD" in the subject line. In the message body, include your user name, current password, new password & verified (retyped) new password. You will also be sent a confirmation message stating that your password has been changed.


THE BUTTONS ON THE SITE ARE NOT FUNCTIONING PROPERLY, WHAT DO I DO?

Web Browser requirement: Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher, or any JAVA-enabled browser

Travelfast.com uses JAVA scripting and applets. So please make sure that your browser is JAVA enabled. Options may be found in the VIEW menu (of your browser), then click on "Internet Options".

ERROR: ILLEGAL OPERATION

We suggest that you use your system tools and clear your browser's cache to optimize the performance of your PC and our system. Windows includes the following utilities: Scandisk, Disk Cleanup (Windows 98), and Disk Defragmenter.

To clear your cache (in Internet Explorer):
· Go To Internet Options (found in the VIEW (IE 4.0) or TOOLS (IE 5.0))
· Look for Temporary Internet Files
· Click on Delete Files
· You will be prompted whether you wish to delete all files, click on OK
· Then click on OK in Internet Options.

You can run Disk Cleanup to help you free up space on your hard drive. Disk Cleanup searches your drive, and then lists temporary files, Internet cache files, and unnecessary program files that you can safely delete. 

If you have Disk Cleanup, it should clean your Cache for you automatically when you run it.

Delete your temporary files. If you have Disk Cleanup, it should be included as one of the options. Else, you may:
· Click START on your Task Bar
· Then click on Find, then Files or Folders
· Type *.tmp in the "Named" textbox
· Click on Find Now
· Delete all temporary files displayed

You can use Disk Defragmenter to rearrange files and unused space on your hard disk so that programs run faster.
You may also use other file utilities like Norton Utilities, etc,
